This Privacy Policy describes how Suncoast Kids Place, a ministry of Bay Hope Church ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information related to your registration for 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) messaging services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly.

When you participate or volunteer in our program, you will be added to our 10DLC messaging services and we may collect the following information:

  • Phone Number: This is essential for sending you messages.

  • Name: We will collect your name for record-keeping purposes.

  • Carrier (Optional): Knowing your carrier helps us optimize message delivery. This is optional.

  • Program/Campaign Name: We may collect the name of the specific program or campaign you are opting into.

  • Opt-in Method: We record how you opted in to receive messages (e.g., keyword, website form).

  • Date and Time of Opt-in: We record the date and time you opted in.

How We Use Your Information:

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Sending Messages: Primarily, we use your phone number to send you messages related to the Suncoast Kids Place program or related events. These messages may include announcements, event reminders, updates, or other relevant information from Suncoast Kids Place and Bay Hope Church.

  • Compliance with Regulations: We retain records of your opt-in to comply with CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association) guidelines and other applicable regulations related to 10DLC messaging.

  • Service Improvement: We may use aggregated and anonymized data to analyze the effectiveness of our messaging campaigns and improve our services. This will not involve personally identifiable information.

  • Communication Related to Messaging Service: We may contact you regarding your 10DLC registration or any issues related to message delivery.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:  

  • Secure Storage: Your information is stored securely using industry-standard practices.  

  • Limited Access: Access to your information is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to perform their duties.

We will not share your phone number or other personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes without your explicit consent. We may share your information with service providers who assist us with message delivery (e.g., DialMyCalls), but these providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose your information if required by law or legal process.

  • Opt-out: You can opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us. You can also contact us directly to opt-out.

Terms of Service

By participating in Suncoast Kids Place's services, including signing up for text message communications, you expressly consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, including the terms related to data collection, communication, and security.

You further consent to receive text messages from Suncoast Kids Place, including transactional and promotional messages related to Suncoast Kids Place programs, events, announcements, and other relevant information. Transactional messages may include confirmations of registrations or other service-related communications.

You may opt out of receiving promotional messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you may still receive transactional messages related to ongoing services or programs you are participating in. To stop receiving all messages, including transactional messages, please contact us directly at 813-990-0216 or info@suncoastkidsplace.org. Please note that opting out may affect your ability to receive important information about Suncoast Kids Place programs and events.

Suncoast Kids Place/Bay Hope Church is not liable for any delays or failures in message delivery.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically. Your continued use of our services following the posting of such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.
